
Art Miller
Dr. Art Miller is an O2X Resilience Specialist who earned a doctoral degree in Psychology from Pacific University in Oregon. After joining the US Air Force, Dr. Miller completed his internship at Wright Patterson AFB Medical Center and worked as a clinical psychologist at Air Force hospitals in North Carolina and New Mexico. He later transitioned into Operational and Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape (SERE) Psychology, serving as Chief of USAF SERE Psychology, SERE Medical Flight Commander, and Command Psychologist for an AFSOC unit. He finished his active-duty career as the JSOC Deputy Command Psychologist where his primary responsibilities included providing subject matter expertise on psychological matters related to Assessment and Selection (A&S), training, organizational health and resiliency, current operations, and behavioral health services. He also served as the USAF Operational Psychology Fellowship director during his time at JSOC and has completed multiple deployments to Afghanistan, Qatar, Jordan, and other locations in both clinical and operational roles. Dr. Miller retired from the Air Force in 2024 and transitioned to the Joint Communications Unit as an operational psychologist where he manages the A&S program, provides command consultation, and supports the training pipeline. Dr. Miller is married to a retired USAF Social Worker who has dedicated her professional career to supporting Special Operations members and their families. In his free time, he enjoys training for triathlons, which gives him the opportunity to travel and race around the world.
