
Nicholas Schumacher
Nick Schumacher, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, FAAOMPT, CSCS, has been a specialist with O2X since 2020, facilitating human performance workshops for tactical athletes across the country. Nick brings a high level of clinical expertise to the O2X team; he is one of only a handful of physical therapists in the United States to be Dual Board Certified in Orthopedic (OCS) and Sports (SCS) Physical Therapy, while also being Fellowship Trained (FAAOMPT).
When not on the road with O2X, Nick serves as the Head Physical Therapist for the POTFF Sports Rehab Team at SOCCENT (US Special Operations Command — Central) in Tampa, FL. In this role, he works daily with special operators from all military branches, optimizing their physical readiness and recovery. He is also the co-owner of the Tampa Running and Performance Clinic, where he specializes in elite-level run coaching and rehabilitation.
As a former Division I athlete and current elite runner, Nick translates complex sports science into actionable results. He is dedicated to helping tactical athletes embrace an "athlete’s mindset," focusing on the consistency and peak fitness required for long-term mission success and overall wellness.
